Following my first radiation treatment, I went to See's Candies and bought a box of chocolates so that I could count down the appointments by eating a truffle each day. I saw this heart on the mall floor outside the chocolate store.
I started radiation treatment for breast cancer in March. My friends gave me this heart stone the weekend before my first appointment. It's called the Golden Healer. I carried it with me to every appointment.
I couldn't pass this snowy Utah heart without grabbing a photo.
